For me, Music has always been about connection. Playing music with others, especially singing in harmony builds a bridge between bodies; a crossing even without common language, identity, or culture. This unspoken, in fact sung or played, arrangement has the power to create community and forge new paths for understanding.
In my work as a producer and sound engineer I connect with my client and their project. I like to get to know their intentions with their work so that I can collaborate more fully in bringing their idea to life.
Over the past 15 years I've been building my toolbox of music related skills to include production, audio engineering, songwriting, merch creation, tour booking, podcasting - everything I can learn. While living in Philadelphia I got to work as a sound engineer at well established live venues including World Cafe Live, Milk Boy, and North Star Bar. That experience developed my listening ear for many different genres and a natural quality I like to achieve in projects.
As someone who has been on all sides of the production journey I feel confident I can help you pinpoint the sound your looking for and execute it. I have recorded, mixed, and mastered my bands and other personal projects so I understand what it takes to turn a song or a podcast into a professional recording.
